What is Earthenware?Earthenware ceramics are fired at lower temperatures to porcelain; creating a softer and more granular body. Depending on the clay composition and exact firing temperature, the earthenware body can drastically vary in colour from red terracotta to white/ buff tones.
Due to their high porosity, when used for decorative purposes, such ceramics are commonly glazed to create a more durable product. | ProjectsClick on thumb nail images to view corresponding conservation treatment
